Uvalde City Life

City Life

James Garza

City Life and City Life MS ministers to high and middle school youth on campuses within urban San Antonio areaswith weekly meetings in homes and churches. Supplemented with camping retreats, staff and adult volunteers find creative ways to build relationships and communicate the life-changing message of Jesus Christ with students.

City Life has found the importance of shared experiences between a student and caring supportive adult are indispensable. This is why we place the primary focus on relationships and not programs.City Life is committed to helping students as they wrestle with issues they face, both big and small, while pursuing a balanced life: mentally, physically, spiritually, and socially.City Life knows the journey of adolescence is different for everyone. We are committed to coming alongside students, meeting them where they are, in order to help them navigate these years.

James is the new Uvalde City Life Director. He is stepping into this new role after spending 11 years working with young people as a Math teacher at Uvalde High School while also coaching tennis at the junior school for most of those years. James is a Uvalde native who returned home after three years in College Station where he attended Texas A&M University. He has a great burden for his home town and he is excited to reach the youth of Uvalde with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ!
