STYFC Young Adults Fall Retreat

There are only 50 spots available for retreat. Retreat forms must be completed and submitted as soon as possible to secure a spot. Registration will close on Monday 10/28/24 at 11:59 pm. (Links found below.)

Here are things you must know:

• The retreat is for young adults ages 18-25 year olds.
• Retreat Dates: November 1-3, 2024
• Camp payment must be paid via the link below.
• Raffle Tickets are available to fundraise the cost.
• Total Cost is $119 per person.
• You will need to drive yourself or carpool to the retreat.

PACKING LIST

Great freedom is allowed in dress at camp. Most of your modest clothing worn at home will be allowed.

Here is a checklist of essentials you will need while at camp:
• 2 Towels
• Bedding (sheets. pillow, blankets or sleeping bag)
• Bible
• Backpack or fanny pack
• Hat
• Sunglasses
• Water bottle
• Toiletries ( deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, soaps, toothpaste and brush, shaving
cream, razor, etc.)
• Towel
• Shower shoes or flip-flops
• 1 pair of tennis shoes
• Poncho or good raincoat
• socks, underwear, pairs of shorts, t-shirts for three days
• sweat pants
• sweatshirts or jackets (warm clothes in case of weather)
• Flashlight (batteries for flashlight)
• Laundry bag
• Sunscreen, repellents, and other needed medications

Departure:
Meeting Place
There is no available service in the campsite and surrounding areas. We will be meeting and departing from QT Gas Station 9110 Tarpon Dr, Boerne, TX 78006 on Friday, November 1, 2024. Young adults must arrive at 5 pm and will depart with the group together for camp HEB Camp check-in. If you are running late, communicate with Carmen Nevarez at 210-560-7989.

Returning:
We will depart as a group from HEB Camp on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at noon and are expected to return by 2 pm.

*Note: Young adults should be advised to eat before arriving at the Departure Site, as there will not be dinner available that night, only snacks.
